What Is DraGAN?
DraGAN is an innovative AI tool developed to enhance the control and flexibility of generative adversarial networks (GANs) in synthesizing visual content. By enabling interactive point-based manipulation on the generative image manifold, this tool empowers users to precisely control the pose, shape, expression, and layout of generated objects with increased flexibility and generality.
Existing approaches to GAN control often rely on manually annotated training data or prior 3D models, limiting their flexibility and precision. However, DraGAN takes a powerful and less explored approach by allowing users to “drag” any points of the image to precisely reach target points in a user-interactive manner. DraGAN comprises two main components: a feature-based motion supervision mechanism that guides the handle point’s movement towards the target position and a new point tracking approach that leverages discriminative GAN features to continually localize the handle points’ positions.
