Its purpose is to provide users with a convenient way to interact with various AI agents. Unlike ChatGPT, Poe is not an attempt to create a similar AI model from scratch. ChatGPT has faced criticism for occasionally providing convincing yet factually incorrect answers. In response, the coding site Stack Overflow temporarily banned users from sharing content generated by ChatGPT due to the influx of dubious responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon its launch, Poe offers access to several text-generating AI models, including ChatGPT. It should be noted that OpenAI currently does not provide a public API for ChatGPT, and it remains unclear whether Quora has a partnership with OpenAI for Poe or any form of early access. Poe functions similarly to a text messaging app, but instead of conversing with human users, users can chat with AI models individually. The interface of Poe presents a variety of conversation topics and use cases, such as &#8220;writing help,&#8221; &#8220;cooking,&#8221; &#8220;problem solving,&#8221; and &#8220;nature,&#8221; providing users with a range of suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quora has integrated OpenAI GPT-4 and Claude-v1.2 into their new app, Poe. Subscribers to Poe can benefit from a monthly allowance of 300 GPT-4 and 1,000 Claude+ messages before encountering limitations in messaging speed, bot availability, and quality. The current AI capabilities of Poe rely on models from OpenAI and Anthropic.
